Amber Robins

Dr. Amber Robins-Hickson is a board-certified family medicine physician, speaker, educator, author, and founder who is passionate about helping girls and women feel confident, healthy, and empowered. She is the creator of Sanxtuary MD, a company focused on period education and products that help girls better understand their bodies, their periods, and feel prepared for puberty.

Dr. Amber graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana before earning her medical degree and completing residency training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She also earned her Master's of Business Administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Additionally, she completed a Health and Media Fellowship at Georgetown University School of Medicine while working with PBS NewsHour.

She has been featured on national media platforms including PBS NewsHour, USA Today, CBS News, Ebony, and Black Enterprise for her work in medicine, women's health, and education.

Through her speaking events and programs, Dr. Amber encourages students to dream big, believe in themselves, and understand that they can become leaders in science, medicine, business, technology, and the arts.
