“Tiny Docs helped my daughter understand her asthma without being scared.”
Sarah M., mom of two
As a mother of two, I've seen firsthand how Tiny Docs transforms the way children understand their health. Their mission is bold and tough but worth fighting for—turning medical anxiety into empowerment through quality content. Children worldwide are learning about medical conditions in ways that actually reach them. What started as an idea in Chicago is now making real impact globally. Kudos to Team Tiny Docs!

Tiny Docs was a great resource for us when our daughter had eye surgery. It can be challenging to talk to your child about the process and we were lucky to see the video on anesthesia. The animation made it easy for our daughter to follow along and the explanation was simple and to the point. Thank you, Tiny Docs!

Our family first discovered Tiny Docs when the crew came into my daughter's kindergarten classroom to begin gathering material for this project. In the beginning, we thought it was a cute concept and have watched it grow into a useful tool for kiddos all over the world! Tiny Docs promotes not only remedies for helping children cope with medical situations, but also putting a smile on those children as well as parents. Love that our son's Be Kind sign that he created has also been integrated into the Tiny Doc world! This is a concept we strongly believe in and try to practice in our own home as much as possible! Looking forward to seeing more from Tiny Docs and how they will be able to affect families lives in a very positive and creative manner!

I'm the parent of a child with complex medical needs and the Executive Director of a non-profit that works with hundreds of children who routinely require medical care. So I know first hand the stress a child experiences in anticipation of a new procedure or extended hospital stay. I also know how overwhelming it can be to their parents as they struggle to find the words to comfort their children and calm their fears. Tiny Docs is on a mission to give families the information they need in a child-friendly format so that children can face scary things with courage and a sense of control. They're entitled to that, and have been without it for far too long. Bravo to Sunny and his team!

The characters and storylines are not only charming and imaginative -- perhaps most importantly, they are relatable for children who will see themselves reflected on the screen. I believe the most important part of storytelling is connection: letting each other know that we are not alone. Tiny Docs embodies this philosophy beautifully in every single one of their wonderful documentaries.

Tiny Docs is company that is making a significant difference in the way children, and parents alike, view surgery today. The delightful characters and pearls of information they converse will tuck away child fears and give viewers the confidence they need for a successful procedure. As a parent and teacher, I understand the importance of comforting a child in any fretful situation, and completely trust the Tiny Docs team to help instill the certainty any child may need.

Tiny Docs' sweet little "Caretoons" are fun and useful ways to communicate health messages to children. In our screen-saturated, technologically complex, and highly commercialized media ecosystem, families and health care providers must actively plan new ways to engage children in creative and pro-social ways on health and well-being. Play is incredibly important for healthy brain and social development. Tiny Docs is a marvelous way for families to learn as they play together and a rich ingredient for any modern family media diet. What screen time is allowed should be of the highest quality, so Tiny Docs' Caretoons may be just what the doctor ordered.

When my daughter was 6, she was preparing for a tonsillectomy. Having done ear tubes already, I thought she'd be game for another surgery, but she was super nervous and wasn't at all interested in doing the surgery. The video that the doctor showed her didn't calm her nerves. Nora told me about your video, and Margaux LOVED it! She watched it multiple times leading up to the surgery, and it helped psych her up. Thank you for making videos that kids can truly relate to.

When a child has a serious illness, it not only threatens their health, but can actually threaten their childhood. Medical treatment may require time away from friends, more limited activity, and leave them feeling scared and unsafe. In these moments, there is nothing more important than providing supports that engages them as children. Tiny Docs is a powerful tool to meet children where they are when things seem most uncertain. In a medical landscape that is often hyper-focused on the adults in the room, Tiny Docs is child-centered — promoting empowerment, connection, and resiliency.
